WE are NESTING now...well really moving in but just in time for the new baby.
With the help of and Craig, the Yarn Temptress , Brother Frankie and Penske, we made the official move to our little farm. We had been going back and forth because of laundry and of course one truck load of stuff at time. The farm had a washer in the kitchen which I was pretty afraid of.
If it was anything like the other appliances that came with the house it probably didn't work either (gas leaking stove and freezer from the 50s) and would flood the kitchen with rusty water or fall thru the floor during the spin cycle. Okay I am over reacting but should the washer be in the kitchen... uh.ahh.
So the hubby set to work to make the strange little narrow room with a window on the 2nd floor and a potential balcony (and clothesline) into a laundry room. Thats right, a new hot and cold, drainage, and gas line up the the second floor from the basement. He had too strip the door ways to fit the appliances in the room. No big deal for super hubby.
Can you imagine!!!? This is a dream come true! It is a pair of diamond earings as far as I am concerned. I have been schlepping laundry up and down 2 flights pregnant or not. I just washed my first load. AWESOME! That is true love!
Third child, 2 children in clothe diapers for a while... Awesome I say...
