We are part of an organization of homeschoolers here on the island that meets for organized lessons given by different parents in a one room school house situation. They also meet up at different parks for educational field trips. This was a function to kiss summer good by and welcome in the no school year. The gathering brought at least 100 of us together for a few hours at a near by park.
The Moms also had a chance to catch up after a long summer and exchange curriculum books, progress stories or hardships.
There is power in numbers.
