Z and I set to work on a homemade gift for our little friend Amelia's 3rd birthday.

I set Z up with a tub of soapy water in the sink of my studio and she began felting the beads after I lightly needled them into shape.

Once they were prepared I helped her finish up with the felting.

Soapy little finished beads or as he worked she called them fish and they did a lot of
swimming with their family in the tub of water.

Once they were rinsed and dried, I needle felted a little flower and strung the beads on a silk string with a magnetic clasp. ( sorry this pic is not right but you get the idea.)
