Raspberries and chocolate

Raspberries and chocolate, originally uploaded by lillyzoofelt.

While spinning and singing nursery songs with the kids I was able to put together 52 yards of overspun commercial novelty and some romney of sunset colors. A quick project and very pretty.

My first yarn on a wheel

She is a lendrum dedicated to my Mom, Phyllis Jean
The Rhinebeck Sheep and wool festival

A perfect fall weekend for the festival
A little milk and some sheepdog watching and then where to next

My annual Wool pilgrimage to Rhinebeck, NY sadly came to an end but not without a treasure. My holiday gift of a Lendrum spinning wheel and about 6lbs of wool. Yippee! There will be many more posts to be felt from this event.
