Beating the 2010 Blizzard

So we have this cute little Mickey Mouse car... a 69 Karmann Ghia Convertible that has neeeever seen a harsh NY winter. We usually garage the car for the winter and drive it in the summer. No luck this year... Ant and Torai built an out building or shed to put the car away for a nice winters rest.

Here they are hours before the storm hit.

As the storm aproaches Dad is still working while his assistant Torai assists from below.   I was able to jump in a little while Torai played in the snow with the girls.

 With lots of raging wind and snow through the night the next morning we began to dig out.

We ended the day today with a good round of ice skating out back on the pond and then Torai's favorite ... Italian food from our friend John at Gio's

I don't want daddy to go back to work. This is good living...
