The homestead is lookin better...

This weekend Dad has been focused on his canvas. He is painting the house very carefully and thoughtfully building his rock wall.

Jim across the street has a passion for building rockwalls and offered to help Ant. Ant is enjoying the company and work companion that I used to be. With children there is alot less I can do. I am busy with all the other stuff like keeping up with food, bathroom visits, nursing, house work, keep clothes on the girls and so on.

I am still driving around picking up rocks for the wall and cleaning them out of my garden to add to the wall so I feel like I am doing my part to support the project. I don't think I could set them anyway.

Daddy's water break

Ant has also been very carefully painting the house. My fairyclean mother came yesterday to do the house. I am very concerned with dust and floors being that this is an old house. All looks good though.

This morning I got the girls out into the garden to pick radishes and lettuce for a BBQ we are going to later. Here is our bounty

Yesterday we separated out meat birds from our egg layers. The meat birds were gobbling up the food at an unbelievable rate and growing even faster.  Cornish cross  rocks.
