At Play With A Healthy and Imaginative Heart

In the playroom and her own little world my little one can have fun for hours. For a life more natural we have chosen not to buy plastic toys. We do have some hand-me-downs but for the most part don't believe in them and they don't get much play time.

Most of the country buys very toxic plastic toys for their children without realizing the harm. The most recent recall of Mattel and Pfisher price toys is a perfect example of the reason we don't buy them and ask friends and family to avoid the purchase these toys. As US consumers we really have to voice our opinions by not buying these products, not only for the health of our children but for world and safety of the individuals who have no other choice but to make these items in other countries.

There are so many toys that can be made at home but if you aren't crafty or dont have time to make toys here are a couple of favorites companies: Magic Cabin, Rosie Hippoes, Chinaberry, Hearth Song.

Dolls and doll making kits can be purchased at Magic Cabin. Costumes and dress up clothes are in every household. If you long for your child to have their very own kitchen set but don't have the money to purchase a non-plastic non-offgasing stove and refridgerator from cardboard.

We have built our play room with the purest of what we can afford and had fun doing it.
